Description

Description:Check if the given vehicle / person / building is alive (not dead or destroyed). A unit can be reported as not alive, even if the damage returned is significantly less than 1 (for example, in case when the cause of death was a vehicle or a fall from a high elevation).

Syntax

Syntax:alive object
Parameters:
  • object: Object - Object to check if alive / destroyed.
Return Value:Boolean - Returns true, when alive / functional; false, when dead / destroyed.

Examples:
if !(alive tank) then {hint "Tank has been destroyed!"}

Returns 'BOOL' if the object doesn't exists. For example in MultiPlayer when a object is removed alive will return 'BOOL' if a new player join after the object were destroyed.
