Description

Description:Creates a camera or a seagull object at the given position. The command executes immediately, and does not require camCommit.

Note: While other types of objects can be created this way, this usage is not supported, and can lead to undesired results.

Syntax

Syntax:type camCreate position
Parameters:
  • type: String - Can be:
    • "camera" - Regular camera.
    • "camcontruct" - Player-controlled "construction" camera. Movement limits are defined by camConstuctionSetParams. Maximum initial height is 30m above ground (V2.00).
    • "seagull" - Camera that moves like a bird (for example, banking while turning). Seagull cameras cannot have "targets" (they can only look in the direction they are moving).
    • "camFree" - Camera that behaves like the 3D camera in the OME / RTE (V3.8+).
  • position: Position-2 - Position to create the object at.
Return Value:Object - The newly created object.
