Description

Description:Sets the zoom level (FOV) of the given camera.

The default zoom level is 0.7, 0.01 is the nearest (0.000785 for V1.64+), and 10 the farthest (the landscape distorts at FOVs bigger than 2).

The FOV angle is atan(FOV)*2 degrees. If the aspectRatio is not 3:4, then the FOV value in the equation has to be multiplied by the x-ratio (for example: atan(.95*1.2)*2).

Note: Needs to use camCommit to commit the changes.

Syntax

Syntax:camera camSetFov level
Parameters:
  • camera: Object - Object of type "camera".
  • level: Number - Zoom / FOV level.
Return Value:Nothing
