Description

Description:Takes (temporary) control of an AI unit to run the Conversation System (see the VBS Scripting Manual). The name that is shown in the conversation dialog is that of the player who takes control from the unit, and not the original one of the AI unit itself.

Syntax

Syntax:conversationTakeControl unit
Parameters:
  • unit: Object - AI engaged in a conversation.
Return Value:Nothing

Alternative Syntax

Syntax:conversationTakeControl [unit, switch]
Parameters:
  • unit: Object - AI engaged in a conversation.
  • switch: Boolean - If true, then player takes full control of unit, even after the conversation has ended. If false, then only the conversation is controlled by the player.
Return Value:Nothing
