Description:Returns the value of an Editor Object argument in the OME / RTE.

Syntax

Syntax:map evalObjectArgument [object, argument]
Parameters:
Return Value:Anything

Examples

Examples:
_name = _map evalObjectArgument ["_unit_1","NAME"] // Returns the value of the unit "NAME" argument

A common use case for this command is if you have an editor object string identifier and you want to get to the object itself. You do this by evaluating the value of the predefined argument VARIABLE_NAME.
For example you have "_unit_0" and you want to get to the actual unit:


_unit = _map evalObjectArgument ["_unit_0", "VARIABLE_NAME"];
