Description: Determines if a given child object can be hitched to a given parent object.


Syntax: [parent, child] call fn_tow_canHitch
  • parent: Object - Parent vehicle / object to hitch to.
  • child: Object - Child vehicle / object to be hitched.
Return Value: Boolean - Returns true if can be hitched, false if cannot.


When using functions in VBS versions older than 3.4, certain limitations and requirements should be kept in mind - the main ones being that capitalization of the function name is crucial, and that #include "\vbs2\headers\function_library.hpp" has to be included in every script that utilizes it. Examples: Check if tractor can hitch trailer using towbar:
[tractor, trailer] call fn_tow_canHitch
