Description

Description:Returns N characters from the string, starting from the specified position.

Syntax

Syntax:[string, start, length] call fn_vbs_StrMid
Parameters:
  • string: String - String to extract characters from.
  • start: Number - String position to start extracting from (0-based).
  • length: Number - Number of characters to extract (optional, default: all remaining characters).
Return Value:String

Warning

When using functions in VBS versions older than 3.4, certain limitations and requirements should be kept in mind - the main ones being that capitalization of the function name is crucial, and that #include "\vbs2\headers\function_library.hpp" has to be included in every script that utilizes it.
