Introduced in

Version:1.31

Description

Description:Used to create custom system event handler types in scripts.

This function runs all the events of this type, added using fn vbs addSysEventHandler.

Note: You must ensure that your event handler name is not already used by VBS, or any other script. Make sure you do not use any of the event types listed in VBS Custom Event Handlers.

Syntax

Syntax:[type, params] call fn_vbs_fireSysEventHandler
Parameters:
  • type: String - Type of event handler to fire.
  • params: Anything - Data to pass to event scripts in the _this variable.
Return Value:Nothing

Warning

When using functions in VBS versions older than 3.4, certain limitations and requirements should be kept in mind - the main ones being that capitalization of the function name is crucial, and that #include "\vbs2\headers\function_library.hpp" has to be included in every script that utilizes it.
