Description

Description:This function controls the status of the gun barrel for a turret vehicle. It can stow, unstow, and stow instantly. It can also check the current stow status. When it is stowed, the barrel is placed in the barrel-holding crutch and is locked in place. It is not able to move until it is unstowed again. Vehicle classes can provide a path to their own stowing scripts using the stowingScript configuration property.

Syntax

Syntax:[flag, tank] call fn_vbs_initStowBarrel
Parameters:
  • flag: Number - The flag values can be:
    • 1 - Stow smoothly
    • 2 - Unstow
    • 3 - Stow instantly
    • 4 - Is un-stowed?
    • 5 - Is in the process of stowing / un-stowing?
  • tank: Object - The tank.
Return Value:Boolean - Indicates if the tank is able to / is already to perform the requested action (stow / unstow).

Warning

When using functions in VBS versions older than 3.4, certain limitations and requirements should be kept in mind - the main ones being that capitalization of the function name is crucial, and that #include "\vbs2\headers\function_library.hpp" has to be included in every script that utilizes it.
