Description

Description:Creates a vertical 3D arrow that moves up and down, pointing at the specified object.

Syntax

Syntax:[target, color, end] call fn_vbs_visual_arrowV
Parameters:
  • target: Object - Object for the arrow to hover over. Use Game Logic to mark a position.
  • color: Color - RGBA arrow color.
  • end: Number or Code - If a number, the arrow exists for that many seconds. If code, the arrow disappears once the code condition is met. Code has access to the _obj variable, which contains the object the arrow is pointing at.
Return Value:Nothing

Warning

When using functions in VBS versions older than 3.4, certain limitations and requirements should be kept in mind - the main ones being that capitalization of the function name is crucial, and that #include "\vbs2\headers\function_library.hpp" has to be included in every script that utilizes it. Examples:
Create an arrow for 60 seconds:
[car2, [1,1,0,0.5], 60] call fn_vbs_visual_arrowV;
Create an arrow that exists until car2 is destroyed:
[car2, [1,1,0,0.5], {!alive _obj}] call fn_vbs_visual_arrowV;
