Description

Description: When used on a turret, all turret shots are marked as if they are created by the given owner (also, AAR fire statistics are assigned to this owner).

Syntax

Syntax: vehicle getFireOwner turretPath
Parameters:
  • vehicle: Object - The vehicle (vehicle must exist, or else objNull is returned).
  • turretPath: Array - Index array indicating the path to the turret (turret must exist, or else objNull is returned).
Return Value: Object - The owner (returns objNull even for valid turrets, if setFireOwner is not previously used, in which case, the gunner is also the owner).

[tank1, [0]] setFireOwner player;
owner = tank1 getFireOwner [0];
if (player == owner) then
{
   sidechat "working";
};
