Introduced in

Version:1.00

Description

Description:

Returns the position of a given marker. Argument 3 (height above ground) is always zero. If a non-existing marker is referenced, the values returned are [0,0,0].

Syntax

Syntax:getMarkerPos markerName
Parameters:
  • markerName: String - Marker name.
Return Value:

Position3D - Marker position. Before VBS3 19.1.6, setMarkerPos reads the elevation from the terrain height, or water level. In VBS3 19.1.6+, the setMarkerPos elevation is always regarded as the solid land height (for example, sea bottom, lake bottom, and so on).

Examples

Examples:
"MarkerOne" setMarkerPos [200,100]
_pos = getMarkerPos "MarkerOne"
// Returns [200,100,0]
