Description

Description:Returns the object position height above sea level.

If the tested object is on top of an elevated surface (for example, a rooftop), this elevation is not taken into consideration in the returned Z-position.

In V2.0+, getPosASL considers any elevated surfaces, and returns the same values as getPosASL2.

Syntax:getPosASL object
Parameters:
Return Value:Array - Formatted as PositionASL.

getPosASL obj select 2 

might sometimes return the vertical position above sea level, but over land for stacked objects, it returns the vertical position above the object beneath it or at least affected by this offset. The same problem exists for getPos.
