Description:

Returns the terrain height or river height above sea level for a given position.

Note: Maps without river technology have the river level set to -50 by default.

Syntax

Syntax:getTerrainHeightASL [position, getRivers]
Parameters:
  • position: Position-2 - Position to check (a third arguments -for Z- can be passed, but is ignored).
  • getRivers: Boolean - Determines whether terrain (false) or river (true) heights should be received (optional, default: false) (V3.8+).
Return Value:Number - Terrain/river elevation above sea level.

Examples

Examples: _height = getTerrainHeightASL (position player); _height = getTerrainHeightASL [5213,3245]; _height = getTerrainHeightASL [[5213,3245], true];
