Description:

Preloads all textures and models around a given position, to avoid visual artifacts after the camera moves. Should be used before any abrupt camera change / cut.

All loading is happening in one frame (the script does not continue to the next command, until the current one has finishes loading). Supersedes preloadCamera, which is non-functional.

Syntax

Syntax:preloadAll [position, fov]
Parameters:
  • position: PositionAGL - Planned camera position.
  • fov: Number - Planned camera FOV (zoom) factor (affects the LODs that are loaded).
Return Value:Nothing

preloadAll [[2500,2500,100], 0.7]
