Sets joint drive orientation goal.

Note: Works only for "6DOFJoint" (see createJointExt_-_6DOFJoint).

Syntax

Syntax:joint setDriveOrientation orientation
Parameters:
  • joint: Joint - Joint object.
  • orientation: Array - [dir, axis] or [angle, axis] - Orientation in joint coordinates.
    • dir: Vector3D - Direction in joint coordinates.
    • angle: Number - Angle in degrees.
    • axis: Vector3D - Axis in joint coordinates.
Return Value:Nothing

// dir + axis:
_dir = [0,1,0];
_axis = [0,0,1];
myJoint setDriveOrientation [_dir,_axis];

// angle + axis:
_angle = 1;
_axis = [0,0,1];
