Description

Description:Defines in which situation friendly fire messages are broadcast (using globalChat).

Note: In V2.10, the functionality is currently limited to west shooting civilian, when the scope is set to "FRIENDLY". No other configuration generate a message. In V3.x, the command has no effect at all.

Syntax

Syntax:setFriendlyFireMessageScope scope
Parameters:
  • scope: String - When a message should be generated. Can be:
Return Value:Nothing

Examples:
West shooting west generates a message, but not west shooting civilians:
setFriendlyFireMessageScope "SIDE"

Multiplayer:While the effect is only local, the message generated is sent using globalChat, and is therefore visible to everybody connected. If setFriendlyFireMessageScope "SIDE" is executed on a particular client, the friendly fire message is only created if that particular user is shot (but not if others from the same side are), but if user does get shot, everybody notice sit, due to the global chat message.
