Description

Description:Changes the locality of an object.

This enables players to manipulate an object which is initially not local to their machine (without having to use publicExec for commands that only work on local objects). Passing a parameter of objNull as the host, is no longer force the objects locality. This allows the engine to decide the object new locality, based on its own set of internal rules. For example, a vehicle returns to being local to its driver.

Syntax

Syntax:object setLocalityTo host
Parameters:
  • object: Object - Object whose locality is changed.
  • host: Object - New locality is the same as that of the host object.
Return Value:Nothing

Examples

Examples:
car1 setLocalityTo player;
car1 setLocalityTo objNull;
