Description:

Assigns a path-planning plugin to the AI unit. If a navigation mesh is also specified, the plugin is used for all (global) path-planning using only the specified navigation mesh. If the navigation mesh is not set, the unit does its path-planning using the plugin only inside buildings and ships, which have their own navigation meshes, and uses the default VBS path-planner elsewhere.

Note: Currently, there is only the PathPlanning.fusion (encrypted) plugin available, which implements path-planning using Xaitment libraries.

Syntax

Syntax:unit setPathPlannerPlugin [plugin, mesh]
Parameters:
  • unit: Object - AI unit to define path-planning for.
  • plugin: String - Name of the encrypted Fusion DLL, which is used for path-planning and navigation mesh generation. If only "PathPlanning" is defined, but no mesh name is specified, then the AI unit uses navigation meshes in buildings and ships, and the default VBS path-planning for outside areas.
  • mesh: String - Name of the navigation mesh to use exclusively (optional).
