Description

Description:Sets the person ability. Value of skill may vary from 0 - 1.

Approximate ranges are:

  • Novice < 0.25
  • Rookie: >= 0.25 and <= 0.45
  • Recruit: > 0.45 and <= 0.65
  • Veteran: > 0.65 and <= 0.85
  • Expert: > 0.85

Syntax

Syntax:unit setSkill level
Parameters:
  • unit: Object
  • level: Number - Range 0.01 to 1 (if set to 0, then it is bumped to .2, so use something like .01 to set it to the lowest possible value).
Return Value:Nothing

Alternative Syntax

Syntax:unit setSkill [type, level] (non-functional!)
Parameters:
  • unit: Object
  • type: String Skill type. Possible values are:
  • AimingAccuracy
  • AimingShake
  • AimingSpeed
  • Commanding
  • Courage
  • Endurance
  • General
  • SpotDistance
  • SpotTime
  • ReloadSpeed
  • level: Number Range 0..1
Return Value:Nothing

If "SuperAI" is turned on in the Difficulty Menu, the skill level is always 1, no matter what was defined in the editor or via this command.
