Description

Description:Defines the different sound effects. Sound / voice plays a 2D / 3D sound from CfgSounds (see Class CfgSounds in the VBS3 Developer Reference).

Syntax

Syntax:trigger setSoundEffect [sound, voice, soundEnv, soundDet]
Parameters:
  • trigger: Object - Affected trigger.
  • sound: String - Name of sound.
  • voice: String - Name of voice.
  • soundEnv: String - Name of an environmental sound from CfgEnvSounds (see Class CfgEnvSounds in the VBS3 Developer Reference).
  • soundDet: String - Name of the dynamic sound object to create and attach to a trigger, defined in CfgSFX (see Class CfgSFX in the VBS3 Developer Reference).
Return Value:Nothing

Syntax:waypoint setSoundEffect [sound, voice, soundEnv, soundDet]
Parameters:
  • waypoint: Array - Affected waypoint.
  • sound: String - Name of sound.
  • voice: String - Name of voice.
