Introduced in

Version:1.24

Description

Description: Impulse creation, for a wave simulation, is done via this command. It sets an oscillating point. The oscillations behaves like waves, they look so, and they influence objects therein.
Not available in V2.0+

Syntax

Syntax: waterImpulse [wPos, wAmp, wOsc, halfDump, timeCut, reach, index]
Parameters:
  • wPos: Array - Impulse 2D coordinates (m)
  • wAmp: Number - Amplitude of impulse (m)
  • wOsc: Number - Oscillation time of impulse (s)
  • halfDump: Number - Amplitude decreasing time to half value (s)
  • timeCut: Number - Impulse life time (s)
  • reach: Number - Radius of impulse influence (m)
  • index: Number - Wave index (modulo 100)
Return Value: Nothing

Examples

Examples:
z=[] spawn {_i=0; while {_i<1000} do {_t = waterImpulse [[2300-_i, 2400-_i], 50, 10, 20, 40, 1, 0]; _i = _i+10; sleep 0.5}}
Several waves created at the SW shore of Rahmadi.
